Oh, Summer!

Well, it is totally summer. I can not believe how hot it is outside. HOT HOT HEAT! Yesterday is was 100*, no telling what the realfeel was like! I wanted to go swimming, but it is too hot to get Jay David out, I think.

Jay David and I had a total blast at the beach. But it was hot there too, lol! We drove down Wednesday night. At times it was a little stressful, Addie and Jay David did really well, but if one got upset the other got upset! We stopped by the mall, did some shopping and got back on the road.

We stayed on Ono Island, it was SO nice! Melissa and I were lucky enough to be staying in the basement area...great view out to the bay and not as loud. We went outlet shopping in Thursday (super fun times!). Jay David got tons of new clothes! Then we went to Lambert's. So good!!!





We made a stop by target and Jay David could not handle it...He had enough! This was too cute not to show!!!


Later that day, while Melissa and Addie were napping it up (J David was not having any of that, lol), I tool Jay David out to the beach to see what he would think of the sand, he was not really crazy about it...At all!!

All and All is was a great trip! I was ready to get home and see Todd, I missed him something awful! Although, when we got home, I really didn't even talk to him! Jay David and I both went straight to bed and slept for over 12 hours!

The next day, I had to head to birmingham for the night. My dad had surgery at UAB, he had a TIPS done and it seems to be very successful.

I am planning Jay David's birthday party now! I can not believe that he is almost one, when did that happen??? I have been busy taking photos for people, which I am loving! It is so exciting to have people actually want me to take their photos! I love it!

Wonderful Wednesday!

Well, it is hump day, a day I usually start thanking God because it is almost the weekend. Now, I know what you are thinking? I am a stay at home mother, why would I look forward to the weekend? Because Todd will be here, of course! He is the best father in the world and on occasion he lets me catch some extra sleep on the weekend!

This weekend will be different, Jay David and I are going to the beach! I am SO excited about this beech trip! I CAN NOT WAIT! Melissa and Addie, Jay David and I are going To Gulf Shores!! On Friday Sarabeth and Grace (+friends) are coming down to celebrate Sarabeth's upcoming marriage!

Jay David has gotten much better in the swimming pool! He loves it now! He has turned into a water whale! The other day I got into the shower, I thought he would have fun playing in the bathroom floor, but he wanted into the shower! We have been swimming a ton lately, if you have a pool, watch out!!





We have been so busy lately! Jay David and I have not been spending much time at home! It is summer and we are really trying to take advantage!!

Jay David seems to be hitting all his milestones so early, he is gifted-what can I say, lol! He is walking now, not all the time...but when we are home, he is doing more walking than crawling! He is into everything! He loves climbing and has become obsessed with climbing on the back of the couch to see out the windows. He talks all the time, I just wish I knew what in the world he was saying! He has three teeth now and he is working on more! Just not sure when they will be here, soon I hope! Ha can hold two toys and bump them together (I didn't know this was really important, but apparently it is, lol!). He has learned to twirl things, it is so funny! He likes to see things go around and around. He is Mr. Independent and likes to try to eat with his hands, sometimes he will let you feed him and sometimes he will not!

I am sure there will be a beach post next week! I am hoping that we have a great time and that the oil is not TOO bad!!
